Rigid sheet materials
A simpler type of corrugated sheeting has long been in use for allotment hut, the garden work shed , garage and so on. Profile sheeting is made in colour coated aluminium or purpose pressed steel, this is used very often for industrial buildings. Sheeting for small buildings usually made from fibre cement , zinc coated steel , plastic and bituminous fibre. Standard specifications govern the shape and dimensions of profiles, thereby giving standardisations across products ranges. Thus it should be possible to construct a roof in solid corrugated sheeting and introduce a matching plastic panel at a later date.
